                G Am7 D/F# C
Are those your eyes, is that your smile
            G Em
I've been lookin’ at you forever
       C D/F#
But I never saw you before
                G Am7 G/B C
Are these your hands holdin’ mine?
      Em C D/F#
Now I wonder how I could have been so blind

Chorus I:
              G C Em D/F#
For the first time I am looking in your eyes

For the first time I'm seein’ who you are
         C Cm
I can't believe how much I see
             G Cm
When you're looking back at me
       G Em
Now I understand why love is
Am7 D/F# G Am7 C D
Love is... for the first time

             G Am7 D/F# C
Can this be real, can this be true
          G Em
Am I the person I was this morning
         C D/F#
And are you the same you
             G Am7 G/B C
It's all so strange, how can it be
     Em C D/F#
All along this love was right in front of me

Repeat Chorus -
